Lath: n: (See Tobacco Lath)

Linen: n: A loosely woven cloth that was originally woven with flax, but now can be found in cotton, silk, as well as synthetic fibers. Now, it is commonly used in homes as towels, sheets, and tablecloths; but in the past the word also referred to lightweight undergarments like shirts, chemises, waistshirts, lingerie, and detachable shirt collars and cuffs.
