Wrapping

*Making fabric bags. Determine finish size of bag. Add 1/2" to width. Double length and add 2". Press in half. Sew side seams 1/4". Leave top open. Finish top edge by turning fabric under and top-stitch. For a flat bottom. Stitch 1/2" to 1" across each corner. (Tie bag with ribbon, twine, string, fabric scraps torn into strips, raffia, etc.)

*For smaller gifts I love to use scraps of fabric. It is super cute, especially if you know someone that crafts or quilts because they can use the scraps in their projects. ~primgal

*Wrap your gift with brown kraft paper, then tie with raffia. Or, print a simple prim design like sheep, crows, or candles on paper for gift wrap. ~Toadpig

Bows

*Tuck artificial holly or spruce sprigs into the bows.

*Hot glue on tiny pine cones, walnuts, hazelnuts, moss or excelsior into the bows. Or use instead of a bow.

*Glue on mini-wooden cut-outs

*Tie dried orange or apple slices into bow

*Tie up bundles of cinnamon sticks with twine and use as bow

*Tie a home made ornament to the bow

*For sewing gift use pincushion as bow and measuring tape as ribbon

*Make pieces of fabric into bows by pressing the fabric between pieces of wax paper with a hot iron

*Cut brown paper into strips and rubber stamp on a design. Using lots of double-sided tape, fashion it into a bow.

*Tie thick red yarn around a candy cane

*Make 6 loops from lace. Mix in 6 loop bow made with 1/8" satin ribbon.
