Box Cover Is Too Tight After Painting

 Sometimes wooden box covers behave differently after being painted. Using my finger, I wipe a bit of clear shoe polish around the inside rim of the box cover so that it won\'t stick when opening and closing. This will also keep paint from scratching off.
