Greetings from Crafty Avenue! I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving last week! The holiday season is upon us yet again... time sure does fly! Be sure to check out all of our new patterns; our designers have been working hard to bring you some wonderful projects to give as gifts, or for your craft shows. I am also happy to announce yet another new talented pattern designer here at Crafty Avenue: Michelle of Raggedy Pants! She has some really great primitive and country designs, as well as some heart melting adorable snowmen; so be sure to check out her new page.

Greetings from Crafty Avenue! School has started, cooler air is blowing in, fairs are being planned... ahhh, it's my favorite time of year! Along with all the fall activities, its also time to start thinking of Christmas fairs and gift shopping. Our shopping center has tons of patterns to get you started, such as Precious Patterns' new pattern line of baby clothes, hats, and toys to create for your little ones this Christmas! Don't forget to also take a look at the primitive business collection of tags, bag toppers and more by dCipollo Designs for your up coming craft fairs.

Greetings from Crafty Avenue! If you missed our newsletter last month, as you can see we have done a complete re-vamp of our Create a Prim website. We are still the same crafter's haven, just with a new name and new look! All of our pages and your login information has remained the same.

We are still offering ways to earn free patterns and coupons, here's how:

Be the first to post a photo in an empty sub-category in the Gallery, and earn a free e-pattern of your choice! (Photo must be relevant to category. Please email us with your pattern choice and link to your photo.)

Contribute to our School House by simply emailing us a link to your tutorial where we can pick it up, and receive a 20% off coupon for our Shopping Center! (If your tutorial isn't published on the internet, feel free to send us your photos and directions.)

Some exciting things are happening at Create a Prim! After much thought, we have decided to move our website to CraftyAvenue.com and expand our focus to all types of crafting instead of just solely on primitives. We will still be your source for amazing primitive patterns, but you will also now be able to find other craft patterns for many other items such as personal accessories, fabric sculpture dolls, amigurumi, baby items, and more!

We have already changed our address to CraftyAvenue.com, so you may update your bookmarks and links now. (Our CreateAPrim.com address will continue to work for a short period of time until we are completely settled in.) On June 1st you will begin to see some major changes to our looks, with updated graphics and color schemes. All of our pages, as well as your login information will remain the same.

*Also make note that our new email address is now info@craftyavenue.com.

Spring is here, and its time for some Spring cleaning! During the next couple months we will be doing a lot of updating to the website with a few surprises. Let's just say our June newsletter is going to be an exciting one! (More information will be released in our next newsletter.)

As you may have noticed, we have already started some updates in our shopping center. We were starting to get too many patterns in each of our categories, so we decided to split them up even further. All of our patterns are now split up by craft patterns and doll patterns. I hope this makes it easier for you to find what you are looking for.

For the past 6 years Rhonda has been designing home dec projects including folk art painting, sewing, and poly clay for Craftworks and Create & Decorate magazines. Now, she's offering her painting projects as instant download projects here on Create a Prim! Be sure to check out her page, she is offering some really cute printable cards that she painted, as well as some other crafts from her design

Greetings from Create a Prim! You may have noticed some down time on our website, or even some weird errors going on in the past couple days. Our host recently moved us to a new server, so everything needed to be transferred. Our shopping cart is now fully secured with a new security certificate. During our move we were experiencing some problems transferring the certificate, so you may have noticed some warnings if you tried to shop during our move. There is just one more step in our move, which will take place on Monday Feb 9th in the early AM eastern time. Hopefully the website will be down no longer than three hours. If you experience any errors; just check back again later. We will be working hard to make sure everything continues to run smoothly!
